A family-owned luxury fashion brand creating conscious pieces for clients to define their own identity.

Insights:

We wanted to incorporate the founder Polina’s love for the ocean, her Russian roots and her fashion ethos of producing slow fashion with just two collections per year.

Brand Meaning:

The brand means “Wave” in Russian derived from combining the founders last name and first few letters together to create an identifiable yet personal brand name.

Answer:

We opted for a minimal design that echoed light details of the sea to embrace its brand essence and origins, we were inspired by its sense of calm, peaceful and aesthetic of tranquility, sustainability and ethical brand positioning.

Our choice of cool blue tones with a crisp white font added a clean identity.

Polina says:

“The sea is important for me it’s Russia my hometown. I love the coast, military heritage and resort which provides me with my sense of self, my identity and my creative vision for VOLNA”.
